At KKaur MD, we do not bill Health Insurance for our Services. We are a Concierge Direct Primary Care Practice & work directly for our Patients.
(We do provide Invoices that can be submitted to your Health Insurance for potential reimbursement.)

Comprehensive Primary Care
Our Practice is currently open to individuals aged 16 & older.
We are a Membership-based Practice : Dr. Kaur will limit her Patient Panel to 300 individuals so as to provide personalized care.
For those seeking intermittent care, Select Service Appointments are offered but are subject to availability as priority is given to our Members.
Membership
Direct Access
As a Patient of KKaur MD, you will have direct access to Dr. Kaur via her personal phone and/or email.
Accessible Appointments
As a Patient of KKaur MD, you will have access to same or next (business) day appointments with Dr. Kaur. These can be either in-Office or virtually through Telemedicine.
Extended Visits
As a Patient of KKaur MD, you will have the luxury of unrushed & extended Visits with Dr. Kaur. These will vary in length from 30-60 minutes depending on your medical concern and/or need.
Lifestyle for Prevention
Dr. Kaur maintains continuing medical education in the evidence-based methods of Lifestyle Medicine to help her Patients treat and prevent disease. She strongly believes that a healthy lifestyle is the foundation for longevity and well-being & is passionate about guiding her Patients in these strategies.

Kamaljit Kaur, M.D.
Dr. Kamaljit Kaur, M.D. is Double Board-Certified in Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine & has spent the last 11 years cultivating her passion for primary care. She believes in giving her Patients the education, guidance, and time they deserve to ensure they are preventing and treating illness. Unfortunately, this is not always possible under the traditional model of fee-for-service/insurance-based care. By maintaining a direct, membership-based practice & eliminating the "middle-man", Dr. Kaur & her Patients are able to bypass insurance-based obstacles & inconveniences. More importantly, this allows Dr. Kaur to deliver healthcare the way it should be: through an unhindered and transparent Physician-Patient relationship. While we do recommend that our Patients maintain at least some insurance coverage (i.e. for unexpected hospitalizations and surgeries), we aim to minimize this burden through our included Services. It is Dr. Kaur's hope to provide her Patients with the healthcare of "yesteryears": wholesome, honest, and readily accessible.

FAQs
What is a Direct-Pay Practice? This means that you will pay KKaur MD directly (instead of going through your Insurance) for either the Membership Fee(s) or Select Service Appointments of your choosing.
Do You Accept Insurance? While you are welcome to use your Insurance benefits to optimize coverage for Services outside of our Practice (i.e. Imaging, Specialists, Surgeries, Additional Labs, etc), Dr. Kaur has chosen to work outside of the Insurance system in order to provide you with high-quality and direct access Primary Care.
What if I don't have Insurance? Not a problem! We deliver Comprehensive Primary Care whether or not you have Insurance. We will also guide you to discounted Labs & Medications.
Are Labs Included? As a Member, you will receive a Comprehensive Wellness Exam with extensive Labs once a year. Additional Lab Panels are offered at discounted pricing or you may use your Insurance Benefits to cover them. Labs are drawn in the comfort of our Office.
What is a Comprehensive Wellness Exam? This is a Preventative Annual Exam during which you receive screening for various health conditions including, but not limited to, Thyroid Disease, Cardiovascular Disease, Autoimmune Disease, Metabolic Disease, Diabetes Mellitus, Vitamin/Mineral Deficiencies and, for men, Prostate Cancer Screening. Labs & EKG are included.
What if I am Hospitalized? While Dr. Kaur does not practice in the hospital, she is happy to coordinate with your Hospital Attending Physician to ensure that you receive well-rounded care during your stay and after you are discharged.
What is the Cost? We offer Unlimited Office Visits, On-Site Labs, Extended Appointment Times, Direct Access to Dr. Kaur and a Better Primary Care Experience at $275/month. We offer a $300 discount for paying annually.
